KAYLA SCHETTER received her B.A. in Dance from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 2010 under, program Director, Joan Karlen. Her training involved ballet, jazz, tap, modern, Pilates, choreographing, and performance under Professors: Jeannie Hill, Michael Estanich, Pamela Luedtke, and Amy Beversdorf. With Kayla's passion being dance and education; teaching has become second nature.
Schetter's teaching experience started in her hometown Sheboygan, WI at the YMCA. Working alongside Debbie Krebsbach, her first dance teacher, she encouraged Kayla to be a successful instructor and business colleague. Now having taught for eighteen years, Schetter has gained experience and knowledge of working with children/adults of all ages and abilities. Most notably being in New York City teaching at awarded dance studios. She also had many choreographic opportunities within these contexts and beyond.
Opening her own studio has given her a chance to bring dance back to her community. Offering adults and former dancers the opportunity to return to their passion!
